Leading Belgian Law firm Van Bael & Bellis choose IRIS Nederland to implement iManage Work document and email management solution
IRIS Best Practice solution to help address business challenges, providing efficiency improvements, greater scalability and adoption of mobile technologies
IRIS Nederland, one of Europe’s largest specialists in Enterprise Information Management (EIM), announced that Van Bael & Bellis, a leading independent law firm based in Brussels, has selected IRIS to implement iManage Work. The solution, based on IRIS Best Practice for Law Firms, will mean Van Bael & Bellis can better manage their case related documentation and email.
Van Bael & Bellis’ existing document management solution, custom developed for the law firm, was no longer suitable for the new ways of working necessary in today’s information centric society. The solution had no mobile device capability, nor was it able to automatically store and manage emails, a critical and significant communication medium. This presented a problem for the firm’s lawyers who often need access to documentation whilst on the move, away from the office. The lack of automatic email storage also meant that electronic case files risked being incomplete.
Efficiency improvements
IRIS Nederland is working in close cooperation with Van Bael & Bellis’ own IT department. The foundation of iManage Work will be augmented by the knowledge and skills that IRIS has built up over many deployments to law firms. The solution will include IRIS FastTrack consulting services and support and will be deployed to over 80 users, the majority of whom will also access the solution from mobile devices.

Supporting Efficient Re-use of Expertise and Work Product
