Life Outside IRIS

Question: “What sparks your enthusiasm outside of the professional arena?”

Outside of my work life, I get really excited about a bunch of things. First off, I love to travel – there’s an undeniable thrill in exploring new destinations and fully immersing myself in different cultures. Next to that I’m a big foodie – I love trying out new restaurants and exploring different cuisines both locally in the Netherlands and during my international travels. It’s not just about dining; it’s about the whole experience for me. And then there is my fascination with the world of wines. Learning more about the rich and complex world of wines has its own kind of magic. And yes, I’ll admit, weekends often feature a delightful glass of wine (or more) to complement this passion. 😉

In addition, I practice some sports like cycling and boxing to stay active and clear my head. These interests make me happy, keep me learning, and help me relax, which I think is super important for a balanced life.

Question: “How do your personal interests shape your approach in business consultancy?”

That’s a great question, and it’s interesting that I’ve never really considered how my hobbies might influence my professional life. But, upon reflection, I do see a connection between the two.

My passion for traveling and experiencing different countries and cultures has helped me become more adaptable to cultural nuances. This skill comes in handy when working with clients from diverse backgrounds, as it enables me to connect across cultural boundaries and create solutions that really resonate with them. I also learned to appreciate the finer details and overall experiences in life, which I believe helps me take a well-rounded and more holistic approach to consulting projects. My interest in continuous learning has made me adaptable, a key skill in the ever-changing business world.

Sella’s New Adventure at IRIS

What She’ll be Up To

Question: “What are your main areas of focus as a Business Consultant at IRIS?”

In my role as a Business Consultant at IRIS, my primary focuses are process optimization, pre-sales consultancy, and providing support during the initial analysis phase for our clients. These areas of expertise help streamline operations, ensure a smooth onboarding experience, and empower our clients to make informed decisions.

Moreover, I’m all about encouraging more women to jump into the Information Management sector. Let’s boost diversity and build a community of pros who bring fresh ideas and lots of positivity to this exciting field!

Question: “How do you plan to tackle challenges and deliver solutions to our clients?”

My approach is to first thoroughly understand their specific needs and pain points. I believe in collaborative problem-solving, working closely with our clients to identify the root causes of their challenges. I will use my expertise in process optimization to streamline their operations, provide pre-sales consultancy to align our services with their goals, and offer dedicated support during the initial analysis phase to ensure a smooth start to our partnership.

What’s in Store for Our Clients?

Building Bridges and Breaking Barriers

Question: “How will you ensure a positive client experience?”

I’ll make sure our clients have a great experience by putting them first. I’ll listen to their needs, customize our services to match, and use process optimization to make things run smoothly.

Question: “What’s your go-to strategy when faced with complex business challenges?”

When I face complex business challenges, it’s like solving a puzzle. I start by breaking down the problem into smaller, more manageable parts. Then, I gather the team to brainstorm ideas collectively. Having a variety of viewpoints is really important because it sparks creativity, cuts down on bias, gives us a more complete picture, inspires new ideas, enhances our communication, and makes it easier to resolve conflicts.

In addition, when things get tough, I don’t give up easily. So it’s actually all about breaking things down, collaborating, staying adaptable, and persisting until we find the right solutions.
