Without special software, it is an annoying and long-winded process to retrieve accidentally deleted documents, and one that typically needs the IT department to be involved.

IRIS offers a safety net for this with its Trashbin for iManage Work. With this in place, documents once deleted will first be placed in Trashbin, meaning they will be removed from the workspace(s) and from search results. But users (including end-users) can still retrieve them themselves, in a simple procedure, if the deletion was done in error.
